My 100% natural soaps have finally launched. I’ve been keeping them under wraps for quite a while as having soaps made, tried, tested and packaged can take longer than you might think. But, of course, they are well worth the wait.
It was after adding all my cork accessories to my shop that I realised how inaccessible eco-friendly, natural products are. There’s lots of new skincare coming out all the time – especially with Christmas fast approaching – but nowhere do I see natural products that are good for skin while also reducing plastic consumption.
Lots of well known brands we consider to be natural have been fooling us for decades. They boast the good stuff in their products but never mention the bad stuff until we actually sit and look for ourselves. There’s a new product come out recently that is 98% natural – and yes while that’s much better – why not go for the 100%?
Unfortunately these big companies focus on price cuts to make the most money, (while small business tend to focus on the quality of the product in order to make the most sales). The price cuts they make result in more “filler” ingredients and is why you can buy a soap for less than £1 in the supermarket but when you look at the ingredients you’ll notice there’s not much in there thats beneficial – or that it will do what it claims to do.
I made the switch to these natural soaps and fell in love. The lather feels luxurious and creamy while also making your skin soft and moisturised. Some soaps contain ingredients to create a relaxing aroma, or an uplifting or awakening aroma. Some soaps contain ingredients to exfoliate your skin, and some contain very little ingredients for those with sensitive skin. There really is a soap for everyone – almost like it’s made just for you.
The soaps contain kind to skin ingredients and properties that’ll not only benefit your skin but also your well-being. The lavender bar for example moisturises your skin with a creamy lather, exfoliates with the fine pieces of lavender leaves, and also the aroma creates a relaxing atmosphere preparing you for sleep.
The soaps are handmade in the UK and then hand stamped and hand packaged for Love Rebekka. Each are threaded onto a string, wrapped in recycled paper and finished with a white bow. Once unwrapped, the string handily helps you grip the soap (while the bow helps it look pretty while you wash away your troubles).
Love Rebekka soaps are super environmentally friendly as they contain only natural ingredients and use zero plastic. They are also vegan and of course cruelty free.
